In 2002 Ulysses won the Veteran Class and then on to win Best of Opposite Sex at the Basset Hound Club of America National Specialty.
Ulysses is the 2001 Pedigree Top Producer and the 2001 Basset Hound of America Top Producer, having 8 get finish their championship titles in that year. To date he has sired 32 get with AKC Championship titles including 6 who were also Canadian Champions, 2 who hold Mexican Championships, 1 Australian Champion and 1 with an NAJ in Agility.
He has won 3 Best In Show awards in the United States and 2 Best In Show awards in Canada. He was the No. 2 Basset Hound in the United States in 1999 and 2000 and was No. 2 Basset Hound in Canada.
Ulysses was only shown 6 times in Canada and won a Group II at the Show of Shows in Ottawa. He was the Canadian National Basset Hound Club Best of Breed winner in 2000.
He won an Award of Merit at both Westminster in 2000 and the Basset Hound Club of America in 1999.
Once referred to as "the Stallion Hound", Ulysses has the heart of a true show dog. |
