Our main emphasis is on producing quality basset hounds that mirror the AKC breed standard. We research pedigrees and bloodlines for those that would afford the best outcome based on the standard. The completion of titles for each of the prospective sires and dams is very important. Our motto is "Champions Producing Champions", and we continually strive to breed for soundness, temperament, and type. We do our best to produce highly social puppies that will be at home in any environment.
We have litters occasionally, placing our emphasis on quality rather than quantity. All of our companion basset hound pets have spay/neuter contracts and we have show contracts on all puppies that are offered for competition in conformation or obedience. All of our puppies are tested by a board certified ophthalmologist to insure the puppies are free and clear of glaucoma and cataracts. A copy of that report is part of your puppy's permanent record.
